Planning a trip is one of the most fun parts about traveling. You get to decide where you want to go, where you want to eat, and what you want to see while you’re there. Throughout the planning process, however, things can sometimes get a little bit confusing. What was the name of that restaurant you wanted to visit, or the name of that tour you want to take?
Luckily, MapPost is an easy and fun solution to these problems! MapPost allows you to create your own map with all of your favorite or dream destinations in one place. Say, you found an article about a fantastic restaurant in NYC that you want to try during your upcoming trip. Instead of simply trying to remember the restaurant, you can pin the article to the restaurant’s location on your MapPost map!

On the map, you will see different colored pins. The red pins are the ones that you have made. The blue pins are popular locations that have been saved by multiple users, so these are definitely worth scoping out! The green pins have numbers inside of them. This represents a cluster of pins close together, so simply zoom in to see all of the pins!
All of your red pins can only be seen by you. If you do pin a popular place, they are still completely anonymous!
If you want to see exactly how the map works, check out this short video and see how it is done.
