Munich is full of wonderful things to do, places to see, and things to eat. Perhaps the most important part of any trip, however, is where you will spend your nights and downtime while traveling.
When researching places to stay in Munich, one place definitely caught my eye. Between the fantastic reviews on both the property and the people who work there and the interesting and unique look of the hotel, Hotel Laimer Hof had my attention.
The neo-Reinnansance Villa that is Hotel Laimer Hof was built in 1886. Each room is uniquely and tastefully decorated. Each person that I encountered at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful, with a vast knowledge of the city.
The owners of the hotel, Alexandra and Sebastian Rösch, both have extensive training and experience as professional hoteliers. Their knowledge and experience undoubtedly add to the delight of staying in Hotel Laimer Hof.
Our room was comfortable and stylish, which made for the perfect place to spend a restful night. The hotel has 23 rooms, each with its own flair. Although we did not have a car, something that might be of interest to many is the fact that the neighborhood offers free parking, with some spots available in front of the actual hotel.
With the close proximity to some great tourist attractions and a short distance to the city center, this hotel is in one of my favorite spots in the city.
Before getting started on your day exploring Munich, you’ll want to take advantage of the breakfast offered in the hotel daily for only €10 per person and is free for kids of 6 and under. Some of the items served include: fresh fruits, muesli, cereals, yogurts, jam, marmalade, German cold meats, cheeses, mozzarella and tomato salads, boiled eggs and they even offer to make you fried or scrambled eggs freshly. Their selection of bread and rolls are provided fresh every day from a local Bavarian bakery. With my travel experience, I have found that starting the day with an excellent breakfast is a great start to your journey!
A few other amenities include free wifi, bicycles, city maps, and close proximity to public transportation.
Next time I am in Munich, I would not hesitate to stay at this fantastic hotel again! Turns out, all of those great reviews are definitely there for a reason. Check out Hotel Laimer Hof to book your perfect trip to Munich!
