Lived in Florida for 15 years and never once got to Miami. This looks fantastic!

  2. I loved Miami when I visited. There are also boat and kayaking tours too. Also for the Everglades National Park in addition to a camera, you should also bring bug repellent. Those mosquitoes are ferocious!

As a resident of S.E. Florida I recommend including one of the most unique, groovy, awesome experiences available in the area, a visit to see the murals in the Wynwood Arts District (Wynwood Walls). Blocks & blocks of incredible, colorful, jaw dropping wall murals peppered with groovy restaurants/cafes/bars/coffee shops. Best of all – it’s FREE (minus the grub & beverages)!!!

FYI – Another tip from a local. 😉 Everglades tours can frequently be purchased at a discount on Groupon for those interested. Definitely worth a visit for a truly unique experience, as you mentioned.
Gators and airboats and sawgrass, oh my!
