At the moment, we’re in a fortunate position when it comes to travelling around Europe. Getting to Spain is easier than driving from one end of England to another. Getting to France is so easy that some people do the commute every day! To put it lightly; we’re spoilt for European travel adventures right now.
But, as the political climate darkens, things look set to change. While nothing is yet certain, talk of the need for European visas after 2019 seems here to stay. And, if that did happen, popping to our favourite European destinations would no longer be a walk in the park. Far from it. There’s every chance a trip to Spain will soon be rife with as much paperwork as an Indian adventure. And, if that happens, you can be sure it’ll take double the time, if not more, to fulfil you European wishlist.
So how can you make sure you see it all?
Plan, plan, plan

As with any multi-destination vacation, planning is crucial here. As well as keeping your trip above water, this can ensure you see every destination you desire. You just need to sit down with that wishlist when you write your plan. Make sure, too, that you know how long you have in each destination. That way, you can plan your itinerary accordingly. Even if you like to travel off the cuff, this is your best chance of fitting the most European countries into one trip. So, make sure not to cut corners here.

It’s also worth considering how you’ll travel. Getting on top here ensures you can cover as much ground as possible in that short period. There are a few different ways to travel around Europe. Which you choose depends on your set locations. If you fancy heading towards the France/Netherlands side, the Eurostar has you covered. In reasonably short train rides, you can hop from one country to another without worry. If you want to see more than that, you might be better off opting for a European river cruise like the ones listed on sites such as Love It Book It. That way, you can get a good look at all your favourite European locations from the water. Or, you could go all out with a European road trip, and choose the places you’d most like to drive through.
Book in advance

If there are sights or excursions which particularly interest you, it’s also best to book in advance. This will be a whistle-stop tour. You won’t have time to queue up for hours. Instead, book before you leave. Buy fast-track tickets for that trip to Disneyland. Book your trip to the Colosseum early so that you can beat the crowds. It’s the only way to make sure your last hassle-free Eurotrip is complete.
